[IT Notice] ASB Printer Setup – New Driver & IP Address (192.168.4.15)

As part of our infrastructure improvement initiative, the IT Department will be upgrading the ASB printer management system to ensure better reliability, control, and user experience. This upgrade will take effect on Monday, 26th May 2025 at 4:00 PM.

🔄 Why the Change?

The current infrastructure is outdated and offers limited management functionality. The new system will allow us to provide a more stable and secure printing experience for all users.

📌 What’s Changing?

New Printer IP Address: 192.168.4.15
All existing printer connections will no longer work after the switchover.
Action is required to install the new driver and connect to the updated printer.

👩‍💻 What You Need to Do:

To avoid service interruption, please install the new printer driver before the switchover on 26th May at 4:00 PM. We’ve created separate guides for Windows and Mac users.

🪟 Windows Users:

Remove the old printer device.
Install the new printer via Run command (\\192.168.4.15).
Configure printer settings (including User ID & password).
Read the attached step-by-step guide.

🍎 Mac Users:

Download and install the correct FujiFilm driver based on your macOS version : https://support-fb.fujifilm.com/processDriverForm.do?ctry_code=HK&lang_code=en&d_lang=en&corp_pid=AP7C4473&rts=null&model=ApeosPort-VII+C4473&type_id=2&oslist=Mac+OS+15.0&lang_list=en
Add the printer via IP (192.168.4.15) in System Preferences.
Set up Job Accounting and save it as a preset.

❗What Happens If You Don’t Update?

Users who do not complete the installation by the switchover time will not be able to use the printing function at ASB until the setup is complete.
